Since when did Russia, China and france become direst allies of the US ?





They all have veto power at the UN.





And actually, more countries provided soldiers for Iraq, than did during the first gulf war.
The UN is an anti-US organization so clearly they are not controlled by the US..
The UN has the same problem as the legue of nations did before WWII. It has no authority other than the people who support it. No military means no enforcement.
I don't think we really ';control'; it... China and Russia have an incredible amount of influence by being members of the UN Security Council and they only sometimes agree with our position. Also, France and Germany were brave enough to risk the possible economic backlash and not support our unjust war.
