When Britain took direct control of India, were there any French colonies left in India?

I know that Goa was still controlled by Portugal, but did the French or did any other country still have colonies in India? Thank you for answering. When Britain took direct control of India, were there any French colonies left in India?
The british went to India only after the Portuguese gave the city of Bombay (and also Tangier in Morocco) to king Charles II as a dowry of his wife, the portuguese princess Catherine (which by the way introduced the habit of drinking tea in England...).

No other country had any colonies in India except Portugal, that had the total monopoly of trade from India to Europe since 1498 when the portuguese arrived in India to 1662 when the british were given Bombay. When Britain took direct control of India, were there any French colonies left in India?
EVERY EUROPIAN NATION WANTED INDIA...

THE BRITS HAD THE LARGER NUMBER OF FIREARMS!

EN BRITS WERE ENOUGH TO RUINE INDIA... NOT THE TINK ABOUT ALL EUROPIANS NATIONS BEING IN INDIA....

COLONIAL ERA OF EXPLOITATION AND CRIMES IS A DARK CAPITAL IN THE HISTORY WHICH THE DEVELOPED NATIONS IN EUROPE WOULD LIKE TO ERASE FROM HISTROY BOOKS....
